Create and manage (standard) templates

With the template function in StoryBox, administrators can easily create storyboards for their company and thus structure and simplify the recording process for their users.

A template serves as a ready-made framework that defines how a video should be structured - from the scene arrangement to the background music. Here you can find out how to create and manage your own templates.

1. create a new template ✨

As an administrator, you have the option of creating completely new templates. You can define the following elements individually:

  • Preview images: Specify the images to be used as previews for the individual scenes. This helps your users to get a visual idea of the end product. 🖼️
  • Scene order: Define the order and structure of the scenes. This allows you to define a clear structure for your videos. 📝
  • Scene naming & description: Give the scenes meaningful names and add detailed descriptions. This way, your users know exactly what is expected in each scene and what content they should deliver. ✍️
  • Background music: Select the appropriate music for the template. This music is then used as the default option in the video, but can still be changed by users as required. 🎶

2. manage who sees the template 👀

You can control exactly which user sees the template you have created in StoryBox. This ensures that only the relevant people have access to the corresponding templates and use them for their videos.

3. copy and adapt existing templates 🔄

If you already have existing templates, you can simply copy them and adapt them as required. This is particularly useful if you want to create similar videos with only minor changes.

4. create new templates 🆕

In addition to customizing existing templates, you also have the option of creating completely new templates from scratch. This allows you to determine the entire structure, the scene structure and the visual design completely freely and adapt it optimally to the needs of your company.

Conclusion 🎯

StoryBox's template function allows you as an administrator to design the video creation process clearly and efficiently for your users. Whether you customize existing templates or create completely new templates, you have full control over the structure, content and music of each video.
