How to set your personal Password
1. Logging In
You will receive access through your StoryBox Customer Success Manager or a company admin via an invitation link (Magiclink). This link takes you directly to the login screen. For security reasons, this link becomes invalid once used. If your session expires, you will not have a password to log in with.
2. Setting a Personal Password
To prevent being locked out after a session expires, your first step should be to set a personal password. Follow these steps:
- Open User Profile: Go to your own user profile under the "User" tab.
- Change Password: On the left side, you will find the option to change your password under "Security".
This password will be valid for all your devices using StoryBox – whether on the web, in the ScreenRecorder, or on your smartphone.
3. Magic-Link Expired
Did you forget to set a personal password and your Magic-Link has expired? Don’t worry. Check out our article on how to request a new Magic-Link.
By setting a personal password, you ensure that you always have access to your StoryBox account, regardless of the validity of your invitation link.
