Do you want to impress your viewers with professional sound in your videos? And without much effort nor costs? Then take a look at our sound tips here:
1. External microphone
Today's mobile devices are already equipped with highly professional cameras, but the same cannot be said for the microphone. To reduce ambient noise, emphasize the speaker's voice and improve the sound quality, it is therefore always worth using an external clip-on microphone.
We have a few recommendations for you, which you can buy from your trusted dealer:
- Saramonic Blink500 B2+ (Lighting, Android & Aux) (~180€)
- Comica VDLife10 for iOS & Android (~160 €)
- Comica Vimo S for iOS & Android (~160€)
- BOYALINK 2 (Lighting, Android & Aux) (~100€)
- OSA Lavalier (~50 €)
- DJI Mic 2 (~350 €)
We use the Saramonic, the Comica microphones and the Boyalink2 ourselves and are very happy with the noise cancellation and sound quality.
2. It's not what you way, but how you say it
What you can influence the most is the way you speak. It is advisable to speak clearly and, above all, at a comfortable speed. It's better to do more takes or split up the scenes. You should also always put on a smile, as this actually has a very positive effect on the sound of the voice and has another great effect: the video becomes all the more likeable :)
3. Post-production
For any videos in which you want to introduce, show or present something, you can record a voice-over in StoryBox. With the right background music, you can enhance the desired effect of your video on the viewer. We are also constantly working on even more AIs and options for post-editing the sound in the product.
Viewers are happy to overlook a few wobbles in the video or poorer picture quality, but the sound really does make the music and you can captivate and impress the audience with professional sound. If you have any further questions, please contact us and we can advise you individually.
